Framed Pictures on WallPortland is a city with a thriving art scene, and many of the city's art galleries are among the best in the nation. For residents of our apartments in Lake Oswego, these diverse art galleries are just a short drive away! If you are wanting to explore the art community in Portland, be sure to stop by these galleries:

Gallery 114

Gallery 114 is an artist run gallery that was founded in 1990. It features local artists who have complete control over how their work is displayed, making it a great place to really experience the home-grown talent of Portland. 

Bullseye Gallery

The Bullseye Gallery is an extension of the Bullseye Glass Company, which is known for its beautiful glass creations. Here you will see a display of some of the company's finest pieces, as well as glass creations from other renowned artists such as Kate Baker and Cassandra Straubing.

Blue Sky Gallery

The Blue Sky Gallery is a 3,700 square foot gallery dedicated to showcasing photographic art from local, national, and international photographers. It was built in 1975, and today, the gallery continues to host 20-30 exhibitions a year.

Charles A. Hartman Fine Art

Charles A. Hartman Fine Art was founded in 1966 by Charles A. Hartman himself. The gallery specializes in contemporary and modern art. Furthermore, the gallery hosts various exhibitions throughout the year that highlights a solo artist or group of talent and serves as a platform for regional and international artists working in different types of media. 

Upfor Gallery

The Upfor Gallery specializes in contemporary art, and it's a great place to go to see how artists experiment with out-of-the-box ideas and new technologies. The 1,700 square foot gallery features a wide range of art, though it especially focuses on digital media. 

Portland may be famous for its food, but the Portland art community is certainly world-class as well.
